You know what? I really love photographers.
I’m not just saying that because I am one, either!
It’s because we (for the most part) are all just so genuinely sweet!
Take, for instance, Jamie Maldonado.
A swell photographer (working mainly with some of the most AMAZING indie bands I’ve ever heard – his promo shoots are fantastic [this photo of Now Now, Every Children is one of my all time favourites! Jamie is how I even got into loving that band]), but even sweller (?) guy!
No, I’ve never met him in person; but based on his blog, MySpace, and other online endeavours he seems like an all around great guy! Extremely knowledgeable when it comes to technical games of photography and gear; well liked

Jamie rules the camera. He doesn’t just stand there and snap and hope it comes out amazing, or depend on photoshop and all of the other fancy editing programs. He moves all around, and up and down to get the best shot. He’ll make shooting with you very comfortable, and so much fun, too! He is the only person I’ve ever let take dozens of shots of me out around the town all day without wanting to knock him over the head! His photos are fun, interesting, and full of emotion. My favorite would have to be his Music photos. if you miss a show, you don’t have worry, because he was there and caught all of the highlights. You will feel like you were there and had witnessed it all with each look at a photograph. Keep it up Jamie, and everyone else, keep your eye out for him!”
