Crazy? Live photo lessons
May 4th, 2009Ok, so maybe I’m crazy, but anyone equipped with a Web cam and Skype or iChat can consider the following:
I will answer your photography questions, or give you a personal lesson — both up to 30 minutes — for a mere $10, via PayPal.
So how does this work? I’m not completely sure yet, but I know that I have done phone help before, and things are dramatically easier with visual help. Even video tutorials can be a pain. I have been a photographer for more than a decade, and have been helping teach others the whole time.
Maybe my rate is dumb, and maybe this whole idea is, but I want interaction! I want to hear what you want to know, and I want to help you learn. That’s one of the big reasons I do this blog. So why not?
Any takers?

I think it’s a great idea. You have a lot excellent experience with all avenues of photography…especially live concert. Also, what about Apple “lessons”? What I mean is…I remember all the times you “taught” high school and college students about the computer programs and photography and journalism when you were still in college yourself. You even tutored an English teacher so she could pass certification requirements to teach journalism. How about widening your scope to include tutoring college students? Just a thought…

Hmm. Good thinking. I’ll have to consider that. Thanks!
