		<description>Thanks! I never use servo mode (except when I was shooting those skaters the other day), so the assist lamp is a nice bonus to the approach. I used to shoot with it, but I realized that the second shots never focused like I wanted, anyway. So I just do a ton of refocusing, which I&#039;ve gotten pretty good at, and prefer at the moment. If you haven&#039;t noticed, I&#039;m a little psychotic about focus. :) But it helps ease the hair-pulling when I look on the computer and realize something is blurry ...

Also, breaking rules is fun! ha ha.</description>

These color washes are Beautiful!
I too have tried the block cap method, but canon doesn&#039;t let the camera use the af assist lights in servo mode.

If I have learned anything from EXIF peeping at your shots, you tend to break the reciprocal shutter speed rule in favor of gaining more DOF and Sharpness.
